Can I use my electronic cigarette everywhere?

How long will an electronic cigarette refill last?
All electronic cigarette manufacturers state roughly how long each cartridge will last. This is either displayed as number of puffs or as an equivalent to tobacco cigarettes.
These figures are standardized and it does depend how heavily or intensely you smoke and how big your puff is.
How long do electronic cigarette batteries last?
Electronic cigarettes are battery powered. These batteries can either be disposables where the battery is thrown away when it runs out of charge or rechargeable. The rechargeable batteries can normally be recharged over 300 times. There is a general rule that the larger the battery or ecig the longer it will work on a single charge. This is not always the case but the larger pen style electronic cigarettes will generally last longer than the super mini tobacco cigarette resembling cigarettes.

How do I turn on my electronic cigarette?
Electronic cigarettes come in manual or automatic battery activation. The manual activation electronic cigarettes have an external button that you must press to heat the solution. The automatic electronic cigarettes contain a pressure sensor that activates the battery when inhalation on the end is detected. There are pros and cons to these models and each individual smoker will have to decide which design is best for their needs. We are currently righting a summary which will be added any day now.
How do I know when to recharge the battery?
Electronic cigarettes are designed to indicate when the battery is running out of charge. In most cases, the lighted tip or LED will flash on and off to let you know that the battery needs to be charged. Different manufacturers use different signals so please insure you read the instructions.
Some electronic cigarettes have built in safety mechanisms that deactivate the battery is it is being over used. This may sometimes look like the low battery signal. If your unsure leave for 30 seconds and in hail slowly. If the battery is no longer flashing then you need to slow down.

How long will it take my battery to charge?
Batteries take up around 1 to 2 hours to charge and this does vary between manufacturers.
How much nicotine is in my replacement cartridge?
Each nicotine cartridge varies in the concentration of nicotine present. Most refills range from no nicotine to around 18mg of nicotine. Low cartridges have around 6mg of nicotine and are comparable to ultra light tobacco cigarettes. The 12mg is equivalent to light cigarettes and the maximum end of the range is equivalent to regular cigarettes.
Many people control their nicotine intake by purchasing cartridges in decreasing strengths but it is also dependent on how much you use them. If you buy light cigarettes but you puff 10 cartomizers a day your not reducing your nicotine intake. So buy the strength that suits you.
How do I know when it is time to change the electronic cigarette refill?

However many people have used them to stop smoking tobacco all together by reducing the nicotine concentrations that they buy and reduce withdrawal symptoms.
